This Privacy Policy describes how Okiwaii LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Veraison mobile application (the "App"). It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Use.
The App lets you log wellness information such as medications, supplements, rituals, weigh-ins, moods, cycle phase, and related notes. This information is saved in a local database on your device and is never transmitted to us. We have no servers that receive it, no account system that links it to you, and no means of accessing it.
Because this data lives only on your device, it is protected by your device's own security (passcode, Face ID, encryption) and is included in your device backups according to your iOS settings.
We never use health or wellness information for advertising, marketing, or data mining, and we never sell or share personal data with data brokers.
If you purchase a Premium subscription, the transaction is processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We never receive your payment card details.
To validate subscriptions, the App uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated anonymous identifier, purchase history for this App, and basic device information (such as device model and OS version). This identifier is not linked to your name or email by us. RevenueCat processes this information solely to manage subscription entitlements. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
The App can generate a PDF summary of your logged stack for sharing with your healthcare provider. This PDF is created on your device, and sharing it (by mail, message, file save, or print) happens through the iOS share sheet under your control. We never receive a copy.
If the App offers optional reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device. No push-notification server is used, and no notification data leaves your device.
Your logged data remains on your device until you delete it. You can delete individual entries inside the App, or remove all App data at any time by deleting the App from your device. Because we hold no copy, deletion on your device is complete and permanent (apart from any device backups you control).
Subscription records held by Apple and RevenueCat are governed by their respective retention policies.
Laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) and the CCPA/CPRA (California) give you rights over personal data a company holds about you — including access, correction, deletion, and portability. Because Veraison stores your data only on your device and we collect none of it, we generally hold no personal data about you to access, correct, or delete. The anonymous subscription identifier described in Section 3 can be deleted on request. To exercise any right or ask questions, contact us at veraisonapp@proton.me. The App is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has used the App in a way that concerns you, contact us at veraisonapp@proton.me.
Your data is protected by your device's built-in security, including hardware encryption when a passcode is set. Because no data is transmitted to us, there is no server-side data to breach. We follow the principle of data minimization: the best-protected data is data that is never collected.
The App stores data locally wherever you are. Since we do not collect personal data, no cross-border transfer of your wellness information by us occurs.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, by in-App notice. If a future version of the App ever introduced features that change our data practices (for example, optional cloud sync), we would update this Policy and ask for your consent where required before any such feature touches your data.
